Survive the Horrors that Come to Life!

Your mobile device is no longer safe with the arrival of Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery. This game is the newest title from the hit horror game series, Five Nights at Freddy’s. Much like the previous installment, you will have to confront malfunctioning animatronics in your attempt to survive their horror. But, this time, you will do so in a game that uses augmented reality. With this, the jump scares are brought to the real-world to make you jump out of your seats.

The Fazbears Are Out to Get You!

In Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery, the players will need to face malfunctioning animatronics in the real world and attempt to survive. In the game, you, the player, subscribed to Fazbear Entertainment’s brand new Fazbear Funtime Service wherein you will get your favorite animatronics on-demand. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, the animatronics which is supposed to visit the clients—including you—malfunctioned and began attacking the subscribers instead of entertaining them.

Now, you need to confront an endless stream of hostile animatronics that look like creepy versions of your childhood toys. And much like the animatronic characters in the past FNAF games, the animatronics all have homicidal tendencies, so you need to defend yourself. But, worry not, you will not be left unarmed. Aside from evading these creepy toys, you will also be able to use different tools to thwart them. For one, you can zap them with electricity. You can also collect parts, CPUs, plush suits, and mods that you can use to create your custom animatronics. With this, you can have a companion that can help you destroy those who are out to get you.

They’re in Your Place

Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery is an augmented reality game. But it is not your usual location-based AR games, such as Pokémon Go and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, wherein you will need to go out and search for Pokémon or fantastic beasts. Instead, you use the in-game map to track nearby Fazbear characters that might be headed in your direction. Once they arrive, you will hear a doorbell ring. When you’re ready, you can switch over the AR camera mode to collect your special delivery.

What makes Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery even scarier is the fact that you will use your physical place as the map. You will scan your location using the AR camera to try and find the animatronics before they charge at you. Each Fazbear character has a special cloaking ability. The only way you’ll know if they are around is by paying specific attention to audio clues and the degradation of the camera. If the screen in your camera starts to show statics, then you’re getting close. Of course, brace yourself as these creepy toys will also have the tendencies to show up when you don’t expect it.

The game’s video and audio effects really heightened the suspense when you play the game. Not only that, but the creepy shadow filter also does a good job in creating a sinister atmosphere, even when you are in a well-lit room. However, the game could use adequate lighting since it can somehow lessen the horror element of the game.

Give Yourself a Good Scare

With Five Nights at Freddy’s AR: Special Delivery, fans of the franchise will have another way to give them—and their friends—a good scare. The game has a polished audio/visual horror-adventure gameplay that performs well in scaring players witless. The gameplay is solid even made scarier with the fact that the premise of the game is in your place. Not only that, but there is also a social element to the game where you can try to send your captured bots to your friend just to bump them out of the leader board. All in all, it is a must-play for anyone who wanted to have a scary yet good time.
